Personal Development can be defined as the lifelong process for people to assess, analyze, and improve themselves, their skills and qualities in order to make the most of unused potential.

The broad term personal development further includes self-fulfilment, developing self-awareness, finding an identity, discovering a passion or improving the quality of life. Realising dreams or fulfilling ambitions, it is all part of personal development. This category also includes professional development such as the development of work-related skills. Professional self-development has grown in popularity and has helped many managers and executives to obtain better qualified and motivated staff.

Already in the first societies people danced, made music and sang. These practices have different functions, but all of them can be used, such as finding the meaning of life or living a good life. In Eastern culture, Confucius was a great man in the field of self-development and personality development.

In Western culture it was Aristotle who shared his well-known great theories and beliefs with the world. Over the years a lot of research has been done on this subject. Several experts have carried out extensive scientific and practical studies into personal development from a learning and developed perspective.

What are most theories, models and methods? What are their success stories and practical tips? Just like a plant that needs water to grow, you need personal development to grow as a person. The period before the flowering period starts is often long and is hindered by obstacles. The articles in the personal development category will help you to reach great heights and to discover your potential.
